Dan Brown’s new work, “Inferno”, is due out May 14th and, personally, I can’t wait.
I love Brown’s willingness to tackle the complex relationship between religion and science, all in the context of a thriller. His latest work is inspired by Dante’s 14th century epic poem “The Divine Comedy,” and again features fictional Harvard professor Robert Langdon.
Once again, Professor Langdon “battles a chilling adversary and grapples with an ingenious riddle that pulls him into a landscape of classic art, secret passageways, and futuristic science,” according his publisher Doubleday. I modeled “The Linen God” after Brown’s “Angels and Demons” (while maintaining more of a Christian worldview), and am anxious to read the fourth installment in the Langdon series.
